Reactions Reacting Reactivity

There's this funny thing that happens once in a while in our online meditation group. We'll be having a deep conversation about something, then someone will leave. When this happens their image drops out of the room so people in the past have reacted by saying "oh we must have offended this person" or "they weren't in the mood to sit" type of comments, only to have the person reappear within minutes because they had technical difficulties. I think we're doing this in our life a lot, inventing stories and then living by them before we ever discover the truth.
